In any case, Quebec does not aspire to be a French colony, dependant on the French King.

It's kind of cool in a way, but it looks like they couldn't decide between two flags and decided to go with both.

The Ontario Flag has the Union Jack.

For sheer uglyness, though, few flags beat the Toronto flag - which does not.  ;)

I've never seen the Toronto City flag before, so I googled it.
