This video was made at my kids' high school, and I know a few of the boys in it. I think it's pathetic that these boys feel like they have to "prove" that they're good kids, but I think it's neat that they did it in this way.

Whenever we played against team with more than a couple black kids on it, we were maybe a little intimidated.  Particularly this one team that had a ginormous fullback.  He ended up playing for Marshall when they won the IAA championship.

It seems to be. I know that a lot of these boys are harassed around here when they go out as a group to restaurants and the movies and stuff, even though they're obviously regular, clean cut kids. They're black so they must be thugs.

But then, I live in a pretty segregated, racist town.
