I hate hockey for the reasons that are largely absent in the Olympics.  During the Olympics we have a rare chance to watch real hockey and so I take advantage of that opportunity.

You simply hate a sport you dont understand.  Nothing is going to change that unless you come over for a beer one day during March Madness and I can explain, in detail, why you should love the game.

Barrister

4-1 US over Czechs.

Pavelec strikes again.

1-1 Canada - Latvia.
Posts here are my own private opinions.  I do not speak for my employer.

Its all about the transition game.  As for no defense - you are watching too much NBA.

If basketball has no defense Gay, you should be able to score 100% of the time in a one on one game with crazy canuck.

People don't bother playing (much) defense until the last 5 minutes of a game because it is physically draining and the goals don't matter anyway.

Surely you're not talking about college hoops.

The problem with basketball is that it is a game designed to encourage mutants.  :P
