You do not, of course, realize the level the swedish discourse on this subject is at.

The Liberal Party scored strongly among certain segments of the population on the last election by their "tough on immigrants" stance which was basically a proposal that learning swedish should be a requirement for attaining permanent residency.

It was a gimmick of course, since they are one of the parties that wants open borders, and the entire stunt failed when they were accused of "pandering to racists" and likened to "that nazi party" the Swedish Democratic Party.

This stuff doesn't cause any meaningful debate since

1. Any public debate that could possibly imply there is anything negative with mass-immigration and attached nonsensical policy is discouraged in established media outlets.
2. Being branded racist in Sweden anno 2009 is about as helpful as being branded a witch in the 13th century, and a lot easier.

While hyperbole, the mechanism is much the same. People have been fired from their jobs over party membership, and I'm not talking about nazi party membership. The nazis generally despise SD since they preach assimilation and reduced immigration from third world countries rather than throwing them out / gassing them.

They told me I was incorrect in predicting a torrent of asylum seekers citing fear of genital mutilation once they gave that one woman asylum for that cause, and lo and behold, 6 months later there is a sudden and inexplicable massive rise in the number of Kenyan asylum seekers citing just that reason. Who could have ever guessed?

I'd sure as hell want to get out of the country if I was under threat of genital mutilation, wouldn't you?

But they mostly deal with treating the disease, and not individual symptoms.

It is not practical to treat culture enrichers any different than we treat other citizens so the only way to turn the ship around is by a full stop on handing out PUT.

We will have to live with most of the filth we've already received, I'm afraid. But we certainly don't need to import more.

I'm curious, though, Sal. Do you think that this and the myriad of similar atrocities is acceptable? Are you happy to be paying for the upkeep of a by now pretty large group of people of which 9 out of 10 don't work?

The woman in question came from a region of the country that didn't practice genital mutilation. It was simply an excuse to gain entry.

Regardless, why should Norwegian taxpayers be saddled with paying her welfare checks for the rest of her life simply because her people are barbarians?

An interesting choice of vocabulary that you use; "filth", "disease" & "symptoms".

I have no problem paying for the upkeep for the Somali individuals out of work.
While on the subject of Somali's it's interesting that in the U.S a high percentage
of the Somali population is working. So is there a difference between the Somalis that
go to the U.S and the Somalis that come to Sweden? Are the Somilis in the U.S enhanced Supersomalis able to jump high buildings in one leap?

Then there is the paradox that you in some manner share the same views
to those that you consider "barbarians". You condemn their views by which
individuals are mashed together inte eg. tribes, clans or families and that
they don't respect an individuals rights etc.
But aren't you like those you say you oppose? You are fusing together a
great many individuals into one homogeneous group? Using words like "volume" and "myriad?

If we hadn't made Sweden into a Socialist hellhole the problems associated with mass immigration would have been greatly reduced. If we want a Sweden that works okayish then we must eliminate Socialism as a political force. The enemy within is the one we must confront and destroy with fire and sword (mostly fire).

Socialists don't agree with this but they are wrong, as always. Why is it that bright, competent people invariably are non-Socialists (rhetorical)?
