So, Slargos, should I convert to Islam for Migrationverket to consider my candidacy favorably?

Perhaps I should totally deny I have any knowledge of the Swedish knowledge. <_<

You need to successfully argue that you are being persecuted in your country.

Flushing your passport down the toilet only works for brown people.

Besides, you are the kind of immigrant we don't want here, being from a first world country.

Sorry, but no dice.

How ironic, don't you think? A country which doesn't want immigrants descending from their own emigrants to another first-world country.

We aren't allowed to have public services in Swedish here, so I am persecuted. Finns have more luck than me.

I wouldn't say ironic. I would say disgusting, pathetic and sad.

But the swedish people has by and large spoken on the subject, and they have been given several opportunities to speak up against it again which they have refused.

All I can say is good luck and good riddance.

I think it is safe to say that the swedish people by and large want a social-democratic welfare state given the history of voting in that country.

It is also safe to say that a social-democratic welfare state like Sweden cannot function with a mass-immigration scheme like we're seeing right now.

I appreciate your honesty, btw. I assume it will be alright if I crash at your place for a few months and I expect to see the fridge well stocked with my favourite foodstuffs.

Or are you only generous with other people's resources?

These things are not total opposites it's about utilizing resources and potentials as best as one can.

What do you mean with other people's resources? I'm a taxpayer too.

I'm always wary of ppl that claim that they know what the people want.

If you want to say something just come out and say it.

I'm not here to convince you, I am here to inform you. Just like most large corporations in Sweden do not want to make a lot of money so Swedes do not want a system that can handle vast hordes of immigrants. If you're not willing to do what it takes to achieve something then you do not want to achieve it. Take me for instance. I would love to be able to speak Japanese, but I do not want to learn Japanese.

How do I know these things? You have to remember that I am no ordinary man. You don't meet many men like me in a lifetime. I see more clearly than ordinary men. This means that sometimes what I say may seem strange to you. I can only point to what I see from my mountain top. If you're still struggling to reach base camp then I can still describe it to you but you won't see. See?

I already said it. I'm wary of men that say that they know what the people want. Always will be.

But why are you wary of them? You do realize of course that the entire democratic system is based on knowing what people want. Why are you afraid of this knowledge?

I don't care that you've met nutjobs. If you're gonna filter what I say through crazy people filter then the conversation is pointless. How about you don't assume that I am crazy and I don't assume that you are?

Remember, unlike some posters in the thread there is no doubt in my mind that we can build a society where there is very little antagonism between immigrants and natives. Should we want to.

You are not understanding my point. My point was that you are claiming that you and only you know the will of the people. And then when you add to that your sermon about being the man on the mountain top how the hell am I supposed to filter it without the crazy people filter?

And the people haven't been presented with any options, neither the "immigrants" or the "natives" no political party in Sweden has been able to present a viable alternative.

I have a deep belief that the system can change and it has changed a lot since I came to Sweden. Mostly for the worse for the "immigrant" population and most importantly for their children that are born here.

You are talking about remaking the Swedish system into a system that is a more capitalist non socialist system?

That's about 5% of what I have been talking about yes.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that you probably don't see yourself as significantly more intelligent than people who are normally considered intelligent. When you encounter someone who claims to be extremely bright do you ever pause and consider the fact that maybe he's right?

The arrogance of the mediocre is typically astronomical compared to the arrogance of the wise.
