Cohen's been happening with hipsters since Cohen was a hipster.  That's a lot of generations of hipsters.

Cohen is happening with hipsters and I recall lots of kids listening to rush when I was a teen.

Yeah facts, so funny.

Your observations aren't facts.

Garbon's eyes and ears are social constructs. :(

A lot of bands I enjoy, but only The Band is worthy is top honors.

I knew there had to be one other sane person.

The guy from New York who roots for the Cleveland Indians?
:glare:  The Tribe is still alive in the post season chase!  Also, The Band has quite a following amongst my friends in the area of roughly the same age (25-35 range).  Lots of Rambles at Levon's place attended and The Last Waltz watching.

I'm into none of these but I'm sure there are some Canadian bands I like.

BTW, not sure that Steppenwolf counts as a Canadian band.  It's 2 Canadians, 2 Americans, and a German who moved to Canada as a teen, and the band was actually formed in LA.

The list seems incomplete. Where's Kataklysm, Annihilator or Voivod?
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

Yeah but when does upstate New York reflect any broader social trends?

Not to mention Anvil, the real-life Spinal Tap.

Josephus

Anvil's cool.

I know of Voivod only cause they covered Floyd's Astronomy Domine, and I saw them doing that opening up for Rush in the early 90s.

Gotta go with Bachman Turner Overweight.
