I justed wanted to say thank you for every "Welcome back", guys.   

The reason I came back, is that I feel we are in a time of deep crisis and I wanted some other opinions than the more or less ill-informed ones I read every day.

And, I felt this was the right place to post about it, I have no need for a thread of my own.

Seedy is around, but doesn't post but three or four times in a typical month. I think he has other priorities.

He posted a few weeks ago. He stops by from time to time and says something if he has something to say.

Still haven't figured out how to attach an image here. Wanted to show off my apple tree in the garden.

I don't think you can. What I do is:

• Upload the image to imgur
• Right click on image and select "open in new tab"
• Copy the URL of the new tab
• Paste that URL inside {IMG} {/IMG} tags (but using [ instead of { ).

Or click the "get share links" thingie after the upload which will have link with IMG tags already for easy copy/paste.

It's a little confusing, since the SMF interface defaults to the "quick reply" function, but if you open the "full reply" view using the "Reply" button at the end of a thread you can upload attachments.

You can also hit preview (with or without writing something first) to go to the full options window

Also, to add more to what baron said, the attachment option is hidden in a drop down under the text box in the full options view.  Kind Of hidden.
