It is one of the most radically woman-hating word English has yet been able to produce. So naturally people use it all the time. But seriously if you are ever talking to an anglophone woman do not use this word unless you like indignant rage. For good reason.

Anyway in that sentence I used it to mean "female genitals" rather than "women", but I'll be careful.

I doubt they would have given a pass for McCain or Romney. They would have demanded their resignation. For whatever reason Trump is allowed to do whatever.

I thought it was only offensive when using that name toward someone, i.e. Look at the cunt (woman), not something like "don't think with your cunt (vagina)" ?   So "dick" is not offensive in that context, but "cunt" is?  What kind of barbaric sexism is that??
