Is there any chance that anyone else (other than Carson, who is dead man walking) drops out of the Republican race before the Super Tuesday? If the moderate and establishment vote gets split between Kasich, Bush and Rubio, I can't see Trump not carrying the day again.
Assuming Trump and Cruz are the top two in South Carolina:

Rubio might drop out if he finishes in 4th place or worse, getting beat by Bush, Carson, or Kasich.
Bush might drop out if he finishes in 5th place or worse, getting beat by Rubio, Carson, and/or Kasich.

I think Bush will end up being GOP candidate.
Winner of THE grumbler point.

Do endorsements actually matter in this election?  If the voters are revolting against an establishment, then lack of support from the establishment isn't exactly a deal breaker.

Doesn't it help on the ground if Gov. X or Sen. Y can put his machine behind you in a state?

You're just saying that to get Mono's hopes up.

I don't believe in miracles.  I have long accepted that Bush won't make it :weep:

Who is most likely, of Rubio, Kasich and Bush, to get the nomination in your view? Kasich?

Before Rubio fucked up in the debate with Christie, I would have said he was the favorite to get the nomination. Now I think it's Cruz. He might be considered crazy by Languish standards, but GOP primary voters tend to be mostly ok with him(and most of the other candidates). Kasich and Bush are both kind of boring, and the voters who think Cruz is too far right will continue to be split for a while.

Unlike Teach I'll answer the actually question... Sadly Rubio even with his flubs. Though Kasich is only one I'd even think of voting for.

I would rate all the remaining candidate's chances thus:

Cruz ~50
Rubio ~30
Trump ~10
Kasich ~8
Bush ~2
Carson & Gilmore 0

Most likely is Trump vs. Clinton. Once he's put his low energy competition to bed and can focus his attention on just one challenger, Clinton is going to have a bad 2016.  :hmm:

I think it really helps to know how the conventions work.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

How do the conventions work?  Tell us how they work.

The democrats are going to superdelegates themselves to a Clinton nomination. No chance they slip that twice.
