McDonald's and Burger King are inedible in my opinion, at least their burgers. (McD's breakfast is weaksauce compared to Tim Horton's but it gets the job done.) Of the big fast food burger chains I think Wendy's and Hardee's stand out; I don't really consider Five Guys in that category yet as they're still a pretty small player.

I used to be on the Wendy's bandwagon, but at least all the Wendy's around here actually make the worst burgers.  Seriously, I want to eat a beef burger, not a tasteless oil sponge.  Don't have the option to try a Hardee's, and I've still never gotten around to trying out Five Guys, but since McDonald's burgers taste like crap (seriously, all I can taste is mustard and pickles), Burger King gets the win for me for making the only fast-food burger around that takes like the genuine article.
