Hansel and gretal: witch hunters-  expected utter crap but it was actually ok. If weird with it's time period mash up. And totally predictable.

Is 'Last Vegas' worth a viewing?

The TV show from about 10 years ago?  James Caan was OK in it.  Your average American TV.

No some DeNiro-Freeman-Douglas stag-party comedy.

Woo in the USA, no major works I'm afraid, he's better back in China with Red Cliff (long asian version only).

I have watched that twice since discovering it six months ago.

Movies I wouldn't recommend, from the past and from the present!

Now, this is bat country

Dracula Untold (2014).  It's certainly better than Dracula, told by Tod Browning.  But that's not saying awfully much.  C+

10 IF cat THEN canary 20 IF canary GOTO 10

The Cat and the Canary (1927).  Garbage in, garbage out.  D

(Dracula Untold's actually not nearly as bad as I expected, and comes close to being marginally good.  Cat and the Canary is maybe the worst Paul Leni movie I've ever seen, and given the three "classics" of his I have seen, that guy fucking sucks.  After a fashion, it's also the worst Harold Lloyd movie, thanks to some asshole stealing the master comedian's image without even the faintest whiff of his delightful schtick.  Plus, CONTENT WARNING: cousin fucking is implied by the film.)
Kinemalogue
Current reviews: The 'Burbs (9/10); Gremlins 2: The New Batch (9/10); John Wick: Chapter 2 (9/10); A Cure For Wellness (4/10)

P.S.: I stategically posted while Moltke was here to see if my BASIC command was accurate.
