Chose the wrong game i.e Belgium-Finland which was sleepy for most of it, then left (Fête de la Musique) plus did not watch Denmark-Russia being way more entertaining.
Correct picks though.  :P

It would be wonderful if Croatia and Scotland tie. Basically a win gets either of them through, but with a tie and neither will advance.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

There's a fine line between salvation and drinking poison in the jungle.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

What a game. Copenhagen absolutely erupted when AC thundered that ball in

Danish tabloids already comparing it to the 4-2 win against the Soviet Union in '85 where Laudrup and Elkjær started the era of the 80's wonder team that should've won it all.

Munich wanted to illuminate the Allianz Arena for the match Germany-Hungary in rainbow colors. UEFA has rejected it, because "we're not political".

Suggestion for a rainbow illumination more likely to find UEFA approval:

At last, a message that everybody can agree with, not just UEFA!

They wanted to do it Tyr because Hungary just days ago made a new law that combines punishments for pedophilia with banning all under-18 access to media discussing or showing non-straight relationships or "alternative lifestyles" (as in changes of gender).

Is there something left to sell out for cheap to the Chinese or Russians, so Orban needs a diversion or not? Covid cases rising?

"Elections" next year and the opposition had the initiative with their clever fight against the elite Chinese state university be given ground in Budapest originally meant for student housing. And with no Arabs coming through the southern border, a different minority to be picked on had to be found.
