If they do find a parallel universe, will we be the ones in the parallel universe, or will it be the people in the other one??      :hmm:

Star Trek has taught us how that works.

I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

Does it work like a double negative? Like would evil Hitler be a good guy?

somewhere in a parallel universe, a team of scientist may be trying the same.  What if they succeed at the same time, at the same place?   :hmm:

The multi-verse view would state that not only are there universes where there are teams doing the exact same thing at the same time, there are an infinite number of them.

There are theoretically an infinite number of universes where Arizona wins the NCAA Championship every year.

I think the types of multi-verses they are talking about is where certain fundamental forces have more or less strength.  You couldn't go there because if you your atoms would all fall off.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

If there is one where Stephen Harper won the election and the Habs are on a losing streak, I want to go there!

no, that's so statistically improbable that even with infinity universes it would never come to be.
