I think I just heard one of my neighbors jerking off. This is why one should not stay at home during the day.

I think you should get thicker walls.

  I start every day hearing my neighbor's strenuous bowel movements, come home to their teenage son's emo-metal shredding, and go to bed listening to their domestic disputes.  The joys of rowhouse living...

I'm not going to let you live vicariously through me.

I was actually pretty surprised as I live in a relatively crappy (well the inside of each individual apt is nice) faux victorian. Apparently they built the walls real thick here though as I can only really ever here people walking in the hall (due to the door I suppose).

I never hear any of my neighbors either, except occasionally the door closing when their enter or leave their apartment.  I'm sure they can all hear me though   :)

I wake up every morning around 5:30 to the sound of my neighbour making his breakfast (his kitchen counter/sink is directly at my bed/living room wall. So I can always hear him washing dishes, stirring coffee .... and his doorbell is twice as loud as mine.

Good things about today: I got over my fear of permanent brain damage.
Bad things about today: This was by experiencing the closest possible analogue to permanent, traumatic brain injury; I had Poker Face stuck in my head all day.

Even started walking in the street in tune to can't read my can't read my.

Apparently CNN has given Lou Dobbs the boot.

I heard he had dinner with Roger Ailes a few weeks ago.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
