I did not have that option.  I was so involved with everything I should've drawn a paycheck from the hospital.

No regrets, though.  Being the first person to see your kid's face is an awesome experience.

That it is.  But when it's your own offspring being born, you can look past it.  To a certain point anyway.  When Tommy was born I had to ask them 3 times to get the damned afterbirth out of my sight.
