If it's getting warmer in the north and colder in the south, that's a good thing for people living in the northern hemisphere(i.e. everyone on Languish).

No thanks. Spain is more than warm enough already.

Question for the Canucks--

My parents are camping through New Brunswick and Nova Scotia this week and next;  Dad was wondering if there are any gasoline price controls up in Soviet Canuckistan by the government, as he see the same price at the pump everywhere, and doesn't see the disparity of prices like down here, with everybody undercutting everybody else.  Is there a government mandate or something up there?  Do you guys do that?

You kinda see a disparity when you drive between Whitehorse and Victoria, BC.  :P

There isn't as much competition up here, and the margins are pretty small.  And anytime anybody cuts their price, the others match it within an hour or two.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Not really no. It's competiton. If the guy across teh street sells gas for $130, I'd be stupid to sell it at $1.35. So, the prices tend to be similar in the same regions.
The prices are different across the country though, generally getting more expesnive as you move from west to east.

Speaking of gas, I saw it has reached 3.25/gallon here. Too bad my car will melt if I take it out later this week.

That isn't really the case here though. Neither on the micro or regional level.
