?

Why sorry for me?
:secret:
Team I support already went out, and put up more a fight (hint). :D

Cabe Verde? :o :P

I just figured based on your location it was one of your backup teams haha

Unlike you, I am not an opportunist. :P

More options is always more good :P

Does not seem to work that well for you. :P

But each cut hurts less than one big cut haha

Yet the 1000 (small) cuts strategy is more popular to win, not to suffer less, as in more effective, these days.  :D

I really enjoyed it. Spain were immense.

Honestly, might have been our best World Cup performance since I've been alive. If we end up winning the thing, will probably go down as one of our iconic games in the team's history.

One of those games where the team was just plugged in (barring some moments of madness from Unai) all game long, against one of the most dynamic offences around.

Better than the 2010 run?

Yet it looks like a lot like 2010, for Threviel and others. :D

Not sure - but I think it always felt like it was the game playing the way Spain wanted it. Not the madness of Spain ten years ago with millions of passes, but basically always in control, always able to smother France.

And of all the challenges France have faced in this tournament - they've probably not come across a side that wants to play that way, far less one with the footballing arrogance to try it against them. Not sure if I said it here but I suspect Morocco will be looking back and now really regretting how conservatively and in themselves they played.
Let's bomb Russia!

Norgy

I do think the team that won this game will win the World Cup.

England is obviously the ones I hope for now, because Argentina is, well, Argentina.

HVC

That's what, three internationals losses in the last two years for France vs Spain?

Indeed.

Yeah, we won most of those games by the skin of our teeth when you go back to them. Here we went ahead early and controlled the game throughout. Obviously France still enjoyed chances to score, but so did we.

With the Nations' League, yes.

Yeah, good point about Morocco

In several surveys, the overwhelming first choice for what makes Canada unique is multiculturalism. This, in a world collapsing into stupid, impoverishing hatreds, is the distinctly Canadian national project.

Loving that the "Are we boring you, frenchie?" quote from the (great) movie As Bestas has become viral in Spanish twitter.

Norgy

Given that we have played EU all of us, I suppose we are all quite tired of Spain dominating, mate. EVEN in EUV.

Zoupa

For some reason Spanish internauts think there's this intense rivalry with France. It feels quite one-sided.

Norgy

Yeah, it would be weird if some of the world's best teams were rivals.
