I really enjoyed it. Spain were immense.

Honestly, might have been our best World Cup performance since I've been alive. If we end up winning the thing, will probably go down as one of our iconic games in the team's history.

One of those games where the team was just plugged in (barring some moments of madness from Unai) all game long, against one of the most dynamic offences around.

Not sure - but I think it always felt like it was the game playing the way Spain wanted it. Not the madness of Spain ten years ago with millions of passes, but basically always in control, always able to smother France.

And of all the challenges France have faced in this tournament - they've probably not come across a side that wants to play that way, far less one with the footballing arrogance to try it against them. Not sure if I said it here but I suspect Morocco will be looking back and now really regretting how conservatively and in themselves they played.

Yeah, we won most of those games by the skin of our teeth when you go back to them. Here we went ahead early and controlled the game throughout. Obviously France still enjoyed chances to score, but so did we.
