Our war has only 30% approval. I don't know how much longer our war mongering is sustainable politically. Especially once the Trump Cult no longer is obligated by their religion to support them. But we will see.

The two military campaigns are converging.  The Russians have adopted a combined approach of operations against military targets and war crimes.  The USA is now following much of the same, except focusing mostly just on the war crimes.

Looks like the Russian position in Crimea, and the whole of the southern front is becoming untenable as the Ukrainians destroy the bridges and restrict any resupply with their drone warfare.

My concern is these developments cause Putin to escalate with a tactical nuke on a Ukrainian frontline city within the next couple of months.

I think the chance of Russia (voluntarily) vacating Crimea is essentially zero...even if it is beggared and starving.  Ukrainian troops rolling into Crimea any time soon to force them out is also nearly zero...and if anything would precipitate the Russian use of a tactical nuke, it would also be that.
