Guess americas airport system is collapsing? I keep getting images of long ass airport lines because of TSA shortages because no one is getting paid?

It is because of the DHS shutdown. All the Republicans have to do is do very symbolic rather toothless reforms to ICE to satisfy the feckless Dems and they cannot bring themselves to even do that.

Between ICE raids and "nationalizing the vote" I worry that the Midterms will be an unabashed shitshow of voter intimidation, discarding votes and/or ignoring results. Something something national security.
