Re-watched Margin Call - very good film, better than I remembered. Although I think they could have done more with Demi Moore.

Shower thought on Pluribus - a few episodes back Carol brought the original painting Belladonna by Georgia O'Keefe into her home. Obviously, Bella donna is Italian for pretty woman, and belladonna is a deadly poison ... kind of how she takes in Zosia who is "fuckable" (Carol's words not mine ) but also has the ultimate goal of assimilation.

I'm probably overanalyzing.

'Game Changers' I think on amazon is interesting, charts the development of video games from the earliest arcade machines through to the first consoles, starting episode is about classic board-games to set the scene for where games went next.

Interesting for the interplay between US and Japanese companies in the early days, Atari FTW.

Yeah, it's a sign of how different the world is really that they might as well have been different planets back then.
Honestly as much as the current globalksed system obviously has advantages, I have huge nostalgia for the old days when someone could be mega famous in Yorkshire but totally known outside, where you had singers who were just the local version of foreign artists as there was a niche there, and so on.
And obviously yes. The pure untainted showa Japan of my dreams.
Hell.
Just in the 4 years between me leaving Japan and going back to visit the number of foreigners and level of English had shot up.
Though obviously yes very well a silly thing to say, you're not stuck in traffic you are traffic and so on.

Depends what you mean by bad at her job

But I just think she's good in it and under-utilised.
