I'm kind of one the fence, in so far as how often I think about it or even how much thought I've put into it (not much). Rich people like hanging out with rich people doing rich people things. I guess it's possible one of those things rich people like doing is underage girls. New money especially like hanging out with other rich people so they feel accepted. And most of the Epstein guests seem like new money. Although it's possible old money has a more exclusive paedophile ring
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".

QuoteDenmark insists on respect for territorial integrity after Trump appoints envoy to Greenland

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — The Danish foreign minister said Monday his country insists that everyone, including the United States, must respect "the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Denmark" after President Donald Trump ‍announced the appointment of Louisiana's governor as the U.S. ‌special envoy to Greenland.

Trump called repeatedly during his presidential transition and the early months of his second term for U.S. jurisdiction over Greenland, a vast, semi-autonomous territory of Denmark, and has not ruled out military force to take control of the mineral-rich, strategically located Arctic island. In March, Vice President JD Vance visited a remote U.S. military base in Greenland and accused Denmark of underinvesting there.

The issue gradually drifted out of the headlines but, in August, Danish officials summoned the U.S. ambassador following a report that at least three people with connections to Trump had carried out covert influence operations in Greenland. Denmark is a NATO ally of the United States.

On Sunday, Trump announced the appointment of Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry as ‌special envoy to Greenland. He said that "Jeff understands how essential Greenland is to our National Security, and will strongly advance our Country's Interests for the Safety, Security, and Survival of our Allies, and indeed, the World."

Landry wrote in a post on X that "it's an honor to serve you in this volunteer position to make Greenland a part of the U.S."

Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said in a brief statement emailed by his ministry that "the appointment confirms the continued American interest in Greenland."

"However, we insist that everyone — including the U.S. — must show respect for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Denmark," he added.

Earlier this month, the Danish Defense Intelligence Service said in an annual report that the U.S. is using its economic power to "assert its will" and threaten military force against friend and foe alike.

Kentucky has problems.

Some other States have too, apparently.

Oh well.  Not that it will change anything for the mid terms.  It's all the Dems fault anyway.

My interpretation from what I've heard about it is epstein had quite the reputation, self built entirely intentionally, as a central guy in rich an powerful social circles.
He was the one you got to know to get access to everything.
For most I expect this wasn't young girls - though some people would have gone why the hell not and tried anyway when offered - but rather the network.
Also it's been said epstein was a very charming and likable guy.

There's definite questions though even for those we are pretty sure didn't get with children how much they knew /should have suspected.

Also I wonder whether epstein could have been pushing kids on people  to collect black mail material. Just in case.

All said though I do think it's pretty clear that trump like prince Andrew was inner circle enough and involved enough he absolutely did get involved with the kid stuff.
Not convinced Chomsky or Mick Jagger or many others had any part of that.

Quote from: Richard Hakluyt on Today at 01:45:32 AMI think it more likely that, rather than all of them being paedophiles, that these rich and powerful people simply didn't care.

This is what I believe.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
