As the authoritarian tendencies in America solidify into more dangerous forms what are the chances on the World Cup turning into a shit show?

FIFA is fine with it. Good chance of stadiums being empty as fuck though.

I look forward to the shenanigans of visitors trying to attend matches in Mexico/Canada and the US and crossing the border.

I mean if they deport the teams the US is facing they have a good chance at their first cup. Victory through DQ :P

I guess they've sold the sponsorships already?

The lottery for tickets started it's first round recently, I think. Which is funny, with qualifying still underway. They apparently will also use reactive pricing. If nobody wants to be tickets, the price will drop and vice versa.

I hope they all get bought by scalpers who can't sell them on.

All tickets will be name registered,I believe, and you can trade them on the official ticket exchange.

I've put my name in for the lottery for the games in Toronto. Not sure I made it though.

This will likely be my one and only chance of watching a WC game live

That change of managers at Forest has really helped.

Ange played a reserve side. Swansea wanted a win.
A few moments of brilliance from Forest's attacking players that led to 0-2 was not enough. How dumb as a coach do you have to be to lose a lead like that, Ange?
Oh, by substitutes and playing a high block all the way.
That Forest paid 35 million quid for McAtee is offensive. He missed two absolute sitters and is overwhelmed physically almost in every situation.

I understand Ange wanted to rest some players for Europa League and for the Burnley game, but the performance against Swansea was not just poor, it was shit.
The only highlight was Omari Hutchinson, who can become bloody good.

The Arsenal fans, obviously, sang "You will be sacked in the morning" after they gave Forest a good shafting. And I doubt Ange, nor Edu, will last long if Forest doesn't start winning again.
Bring Nigel Clough in.

Forest seem weird with going for a change of managers with a complete opposite approach.

Not even remotely.
Has he even heard of defence before?

I'll hand it to Neco Williams, though, that was some finish.

Wood looks out of fashion and the rain did not raise the quality of play, but come on, it was against Burnley. Their keeper was solid. Our Uke defender was rather clumsy.

This Douglas Luiz was almost invisible, except when he misplaced a pass.

A really dodgy performance by Forest. Are they trying to bring down the sales value of the players? Morato in the central defence is a definite liability.

World Cup 1934 in Italy was a success.
Well. For Italy.
