On pie.

Not sure what to make of that.

Where they already blue, or did they swing?

Wisconsin went for Trump last year.

Zmiinyi defenders: "Russian warship, go fuck yourself."

I wouldn't call shifts without comparing like for like, special elections are weird.  Ted Kennedy's seat went to some no name Republican whose name I don't remember, less than a year after Democrats blew GOP out of the water.  It didn't stay Republican for long.

The Minsky Moment

Quote from: HVC on March 25, 2025, 06:49:34 PMWell I guess he has to buy Ubisoft now.

The Minsky Moment

Quote from: Sophie Scholl on April 01, 2025, 09:32:05 PMThe Wisconsin Supreme Court seat has been called for the Democrat, making Elon having just had a very expensive and unproductive vacation to the state. :)

Not entirely unproductive.  He could come away with a criminal indictment for bribing voters:

QuoteAny person who does any of the following violates this chapter:
(a) Offers, gives, lends or promises to give or lend, or endeavors to procure, anything of value, or any office or employment or any privilege or immunity to, or for, any elector, or to or for any other person, in order to induce any elector to:
1. Go to or refrain from going to the polls.
2. Vote or refrain from voting.

crazy canuck

The pictures of him handing out million dollar cheques for voting might be useful

The Minsky Moment

Yes, interesting test case of whether the Elon exemption from the laws of United States still applies.

And a wider case/question that I think the right are massively overinterpreting their mandate - and I think Musk is a significant part of that.

Not sure the Democrats will necessarily be well placed to take advantage. But I think there's a lot of overreaching going on.
Let's bomb Russia!
