Moronic memes aren't even worth posting here, let alone debating here.

And the black-and-white "Israelis good, Palestinians bad" and "Palestinians good, Israelis bad" arguments are also moronic.  Arguments need to have nuance if they are intended to be seen as anything but shitslinging monkey postings.

Exactly, well said.

Raz, do you peruse these hate sites looking to get mad?
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".
Hubris must be punished. Severely.

You need to stop this kneejerk anything critical of Israel is anti semitic hate nonsense.
That youre so dedicated to this means without the context of the crazy stuff my interpretation made more sense. Boy who cried wolf and all that.

Next on the menu. What absolute gobbledygook.
Dude, they posted a picture of bear eating the NATO emblem.  Who the fuck do you think that is suppose to be?  I posted stuff from a Tanky meme page and you defended it.

Was your interpretation correct?  That it was just Israeli civilians who were having fun while "terrible shit" was going on in Gaza, or was my version correct that they were compared to Nazi camp guards who were legitimate targets (which is a common theme in Pro-Palestinian justification of the attack).
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

No, they just come up on my feed.  They come in two flavors, Islamic and Tankie.  Islamic ones depict Jews as rats and pigs.  Tankie ones depict Jews as Nazis and defend the Islamists.  I was surprised that Josq would defend the Tankie one, typically he just says that they are "stupid".

Quote from: Josquius on Today at 02:44:41 AMThat's one reading.
A more sensible one would be Israelis were living it up, sheltered from the terrible shit going on over other side of the wall.
Bad taste, but no proof it means the atrocities were good. There definitely remains valid questions over the pile up of Israeli failures there.

What terrible shit are you referring to?  The inability to travel freely and difficulty in importing rockets?  That's hardly comparable to living conditions in Auschwitz.  The natural, unstrained comparison is the festival goers were comparable to young women working as secretaries at death camps.

I think posting these memes was very useful, it definitely revealed some things.  Also very depressing.

There's no bear in that picture.
As said. Boy who cried wolf. Call anyone who criticises Israel a genocidal bigot often enough and you're bound to sometimes call it right.

Just fuck off with your hateful bollocks. Keep it in the thread specifically for masturbating over dead kids.

And also grow up and get out of this black and white world view. I "defended it" by saying it was bad taste and hyperbolic.

I can think of countless times when Raz did not call someone who criticized Israel a genocidal bigot.

I think this maybe the first time you admitted you are wrong.  I'm not sure you are admitting your are wrong, but it's very close to admission.  It is not hateful to call out antisemitism or people who justify the murder of innocents.  And this is the thread for stupid memes on Facebook.  You aren't offended by stuff by Trump supporters that makes them look bad.

No, this is the thread for interesting or amusing posts from Facebook.  If you post a meme that is so moronic that the viewers can't tell if it is "Israelis good, Palestinians bad" or "Palestinians good, Israelis bad" that just makes you look as moronic as the meme itself.  There's nothing to discuss if there is no message in the Facebook post you are quoting.
