I think I did a thread on this once before, years ago, but I'm too lazy to check.
What brand(s) of perfume or cologne do you people wear?
For the last 4 or 5 years I've worn Burberry for Men, but just switched the other week to Stampede (forget who makes it).
Ogallala Bay Rum Sage and Cedar is my preferred, but I stock five of their varieties regularly. Also, Cool Water by Davidoff.

None, I smell of me. :bowler:
I smell how a man should smell. Old Spice.
I have my own original stink. I've been trying to patent it.

I used to wear this also, but Princesca made me stop because one of her old boyfriends wore it. I was like "ummm... so?" :hmm:
Sulphur with a hint of brimstone.
Or Aqua di Gio by Armani when among people.
Almost exclusively these days Chanel Antheus (the red one). Boyo prefers to wear Chanel Egoiste (black) or Yves Saint Laurent's La Nuit d'Homme (sp). Just brought him a bottle of the latter from Amsterdam.

Remind me to always smell opposite of the wind direction from you. I hate people who do not use perfume.
Curve cologne by Liz Claiborne. My sister got some for me for a Christmas present when I was... a freshman in college? I've been using it ever since. I use Old Spice Swagger spray/deodorant on other areas though.
I've currently been using D&G - The One.
I like what I'm wearing now, but man I do miss Cool Water. :hmm:

I use to wear "[Our version of] Cool Water" from the dollar store in high school. Mainly in a vain attempt to hide the cigarette smell from my folks.
I wore Drakkar Noir for a while after I found a big package of it wrapped up as a Christmas present for me that my grandmother, suffering from Alzheimer's forgot to give me... :(
Had a bad experience with Drakkar around the first time I got really stoned in college and started panicking that everyone could smell the weed on me, so I completely soaked myself in Drakkar before going to a concert, then got really self-conscious about the massive Drakkar odor and started using snow to try to get it off of me. It's a hell of a drug, Drakkar.
I was given some Yves Saint-Laurent Rive Gauche (Pour Homme) by an ex-girlfriend who was really into scents (I used to work across the street from a big scent testing facility in Philadelphia, Monell; they have a huge gold modernist statute of a nose outside their building :D), and I've been using it ever since, so about 5-6 years. Used a couple different ones when I ran out (some English Leather :yucky: and I think a tiny bottle of that David Beckham one), but I really like my YSL. :frog: Now I just use unscented antiperspirant + a splash of cologne instead of that nasty Speed Stick.
I occasionally use a bit of aftershave, but very rarely, and very little. I have a weak nose, so if I can smell your cologne stank, well it's stanky. (which is a cross between stink and skank)
Didn't realize Languish had so many fancy lads.
Allure from Chanel. Sometimes Davidoff Cool Water, but the wife hates it.
Eau d'Slargos :homestar:
Btw, in terms of nomenclature - is "cologne" simply a name for "perfume for men" or is it another word for "eau de toilette"?

No, Cologne is simply the English name for the German city of Koln.

Perhaps which is why I wrote "cologne" and not "Cologne". :bowler:
I washed myself before I went out today, I probably smelled of soap.
I tend to use whatever was given to me as a gift the past Christmas or birthday.
eau de cologne is 2-5% essential oils; eau de toilette is 5-15% essential oils/scents; eau de parfum is 10-20% essential oils/scents. Or thereabouts.

French actually.
Men do not use such products. Those who do are not men.

He's been extremely dense about it but basically it comes from a perfume made there "eau de Cologne"
It stuck, like Frigidaire I guess.
Brooks Brothers Classic.
Depends on what I'm wearing, and the context.
D&G's The One or Bleu de Chanel depending on the suit and tie combination, and Lacoste or one of the Burberrys for casual, though I prefer Lacoste in the fall. Nowadays, it's been predominantly Armani Code: Summer.
Seedy and I sometimes have the same fragrance? :o

The ladies at work don't dig Euro-style BO. We have enough Hindus for that.

Wow, you're so shallow a moth couldn't drown in you.
Hating not washing I can understand, but hating not smelling of something artificial is bordering on psycho. Specifically American Psycho.
Perfume is an unnecessary luxury not all of us can afford every day. I save it for special occasions and my favourites are Chanel Cristalle Eau Vert and Shiseido Feminite du Bois.
I actively dislike most men's colognes but find the various Dior Fahrenheit variants bearable.
Most of my colleaques scents give me a headache.
Most likely because it seems as if they bathe in it instead of just adding a touch of fragrance.

That is indeed a common failing. :(
One guy at my work admitted that when he bathes in it, it is because he doesn't want to come in smelling like alcohol. I told him that it made it worse as you could smell both. <_<
Burberry for Men is kind of a subtle fragrance, so I used to put one spray of it in my shirt and another on my wrists, but Stampede is more potent so I only do the one in my shirt.
On the shirt?
Perfumes are made to be put on the skin.
About the OP: nothing, except when going to a party; in that case, Fahrenheit 32 or Eau Sauvage.

Not sure why chatting about chest hair was cool.
I have a lot of it. I am: virile. :perv:
I haven't worn cologne or any other similar product in probably 20 years. I do shower and use deodorant regularly though so probably smell better than 99% of the Polish population regardless of what they spray themselves with.

Whoa, easy there, sister. I meant deodorant/scent/perfume there, not just "eau du parfume" (sp?) - it was directed at people who responded with "natural scent" or "soap is enough". Peace. :P
Fahrenheit by Dior for me.
