Btw, in terms of nomenclature - is "cologne" simply a name for "perfume for men" or is it another word for "eau de toilette"?

No, Cologne is simply the English name for the German city of Koln.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

eau de cologne is 2-5% essential oils; eau de toilette is 5-15% essential oils/scents; eau de parfum is 10-20% essential oils/scents.  Or thereabouts.

Depends on what I'm wearing, and the context.
D&G's The One or Bleu de Chanel depending on the suit and tie combination, and Lacoste or one of the Burberrys for casual, though I prefer Lacoste in the fall.  Nowadays, it's been predominantly Armani Code: Summer.

Seedy and I sometimes have the same fragrance? :o
