No; Maryland does not have open primaries, and as I am not registered with either party, I just get to enjoy lighter traffic since schools are closed.

Now, if this were a Board of Education year, then my UNA ass could weigh in, but it's not.

I don't feel suppressed though; unlike so many of the knucklehead crybabies this primary season, I've known since 9th grade that one has to be a member of a political party in Maryland to vote in a political party's primary.

Except in 2000, when the GOP opened their primary here, ostensibly to stop Dubya;  I voted Johnny Hero, and thoroughly enjoyed doing so.  Alas, the Dubya Smear Machine^tm won, like it always did.
