Maybe Marty remembers the shenanigans of Yuri Andropov. Because Marty is that old.

Well maybe that is a bit much to expect him to know.  It was a long time ago.  I guess not everyone knows his story.  I do, but it occurs to me that might be because I knew the man.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

And some times you just have to hand it to Trump.  When asked about the number of celebrities promising to leave the US for Canada if Trump was elected (including Lena Dunham, Whoopi Goldberg, John Stewart, and Trump's favourite Rosie O'Donnell):

Quote"Now I have to get elected because I'll be doing a great service to our country," he said. "Now it's much more important. In fact, I'll immediately get off this call and start campaigning right now."

If Trump gets rid of Dunham he's off to a good start making America great again.  :showoff:

Yep, you have to hand it to him for acting like a child.  And you really have to hand it to people who think that is a good thing.  A great thing.  You wouldn't believe how great it would be to have someone so immature in the office of the President of the United States.

It would make the internet so much more entertaining for a few Icelanders and Polish people. Important considerations in any election :hmm:

Like I said, the first ten days of a Trump presidency would be awesome.  The hangover, though.

Trump is by far the worst candidate for Poland though.

Speaking of today's election, have you voted yet Seedy?

No; Maryland does not have open primaries, and as I am not registered with either party, I just get to enjoy lighter traffic since schools are closed.

Now, if this were a Board of Education year, then my UNA ass could weigh in, but it's not.

Eh, aside from the Weekly Standard faggots, life would go on pretty much as usual under God Emperor Trump.

The butthurt will be glorious though.

SUPPRESSED

I don't feel suppressed though; unlike so many of the knucklehead crybabies this primary season, I've known since 9th grade that one has to be a member of a political party in Maryland to vote in a political party's primary.

Except in 2000, when the GOP opened their primary here, ostensibly to stop Dubya;  I voted Johnny Hero, and thoroughly enjoyed doing so.  Alas, the Dubya Smear Machinetm won, like it always did.
