No. Fell slightly short of that.

Oh then it is easy - the treaty treated you as a tax resident of Spain, as most of them do so unless you work more than half a year in another country. I was in Belgium for almost six months so I stayed a Polish tax resident too.

At least as a German you still have to file a 1040 form to the IRS if you want to be tax exempt under the US-German tax treaty even if you work less than 185 days there.

I filed a tax return. There was just nothing taxable in it.

All are Trump v. Clinton (sources are the latest state poll at realclearpolitics--all within the last week) :

Michigan: Clinton +5%
Georgia: Trump +9%
Florida: Trump +2%
Ohio: Trump +2%
North Carolina: Trump +2%

Those are all the states polled.
