So the wife just voted and she was all proud of herself.  The voting guide I gave her covered all the candidates down to dog catcher, but I forgot to include anything on the levies.  So on her own initiative she voted "NO" on everything-- including all of the school, park, etc. levy renewals because she was "tired of paying so much goddamned taxes"

At least she canceled out my vote on the park levy increase, I guess.

See, this is why you vote next to your wife and watch her closely.

I'm honestly shitting bricks.

I don't know if it's better stay up until we get a reasonable idea where this is going or go to bed and get up early  :hmm:

I'm doing the latter. :D

You are going to miss Tim's play-by-play :(

Voting machines in PA were counting Hillary when you pressed the Trump button.  Problem fixed after machines "recalibrated".

You got to be kidding me.

Same thing happened in 2004.  But Languish said I was being a wingnut.  So fuck y'all.  Goes around, comes around.  Fucking biyotches.

My wife votes straight Democratic on everything and that is only because there is no Socialist Party to vote for.

At least I convinced her to not vote for the stupid left wing road plan Austin tried to get us to pay for.

Mine has gone so far right-libertarian that she's passed me up

I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

If Microsoft Excel decided to stop working overnight, the world would practically end.

Yi still thinks you're a wingnut.

C'mon, it was a funny line.  :)

Your link was not as Breitbarty as I expected, but I'm still holding on to the possibility that Trump voters are pushing the wrong button and seeing conspiracies where they don't exist.

If they are the same machines that I used 20 years ago when I was in PA they are pieces of crap from the 50s.  Wouldn't surprise me if there are all sorts of problems with them.

wouldn't they be voting Ike instead of Hillary then?

You guys are always going to have these kind of minor issues as long as you insist on not using pen and paper like God intended you to vote.

Social media is apparently outraged because an Atlanta-area republican mayor posts on Facebook "Remember the voting days: Republicans vote on November 8 and Democrats on November 9".

It's a variant of that hoary old political joke to tell your supporters "Remember on voting day to vote early, and vote often!".

I'm not sure levity like that is much appreciated in an election like this.

More like these are really shitty and beat up LCD displays from the 1980's, tied to a Access-compatible database.
