I bought a Nintendo Wii U, bitches. Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario 3D World, prepare to be blasted for 100 straight hours.

SoB. I was going to buy one but then my lawnmower broke. This fall, I hope. I really want to play some Nintendo games.

This is my first Nintendo console since the GameCube first came out. I've decided that Playstation and Xbox are pretty much useless now if you have a semi-decent PC gaming rig since almost all of their games eventually come out on PC and the current generation PS4 and Xbone have crap for exclusives. At least the Wii U, despite its shortcomings as a console, has a strong catalog of really fun, high quality games and backwards-compatibility with Wii titles, which is important to me since I plan on buying Mario Galaxy 2 and Zelda: Skyward Sword.

Don't forget to buy a Nunchuck for your MK8 wiimote.

I'm playing mostly Noir Syndrome, which I love, and Nuclear Throne, which is one of the best shmups ever.

I bought the new Wolfenstein and have been going between that and Rome:Total War 2: the Totaling.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

I've been playing Plague, Inc. Evolved. It's a souped up version of the old Pandemic flash game.

It's a bit entertaining, though I'm playing on normal at the moment to get my bearings. Normally the MO is to infect everyone on the planet, but not causing any symptoms, but then to go berzerk on symptoms and lethality when no healthy person is left.

It was a bit tricky with fungi spores, it was fun with the brain parasite (you can choose evolve so that humans worship you as god, killing no one), but the Zombie Necroa virus has me a bit stumped. As soon as you evolve a single symptom (insomnia or excessive salivation), the chain is set in motion to eradicate you.

You can devolve symptoms to fly under the radar, but where most diseases give you back a few DNA points, the Necroa virus charges you a fairly hefty sum. And if you manage to remain benign till a large part of the population is infected in all countries you'll likely lack DNA points to spend on symptoms. My best run was where I started in Greenland (because it's hard to get there unless other places are heavily infected) and managed to zombify a lot of infected, but I lacked DNA to resurrect the dead or trigger other zombie special skills, so in the end a few million people survived, led by Sweden who had created the "Z Com" special unit.

The best course of action is probably to quickly spread to as many countries as possible and then go for the transmission options that have the highest chance of giving you free symptom mutations.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

In a previous game a nuclear plant in Sweden blew up, "by accident or through sabotage" when order collapsed in the country. I considered making a screenshot for you. :P

Playing through Red Dead Redemption again after four years. It really is Rockstar's best game.

Did you ever DL the zombie expansion?  That totally rocks:)

I've been playing GTA V online with my 14 and 12 year old nephews. We've formed a street gang and drop anything that moves.

I have that for my Kindle.  Don't know if it applies for the PC version but I would start in a place like India and spend some cash on infections but buy down symptoms as quick as possible till you have a good spread. Avoid things that cause mutations  Keep a reserve of DNA till you have infected a good portion of the globe and when you get a symptom go all out and buy a bunch of symptoms  and special abilities that allow you to move zombie hordes.  Once zombification starts you get a lot of DNA points.  Use it to strengthen zombies, increase the size of hordes and make them more resistant to time.  When Z-Com starts up send everything you have at it.  You'll want most most of the equatorial countries infected and a good portion of Europe with some of the infections before you let lose zombies.
