Finally ran across my Star Wars Rebellion disc. Got it installed and fired up. Once C-3P0's briefing gets done I'll be rolling.

Gods, how I do love Carrion Woods. One of my favorite race/age themes to play since Dom II.

I farted around with the demo for Dom 3, but I have never really played any of them.  That 50% off sale this week is really calling out to me.

SO the game is viable in single player?  I wouldn't mind getting into MP at some point, but I can't see myself buying an MP only game at this point.

I can only say this: I've gotten hours and hours of enjoyment out of the Dominions series - hundreds of hours since Dom II, honestly - and many more tens of hours enjoyment in multiplayer. But your mileage on SP may vary. I would suggest playing the demo multiple times until you can't progress any more - if you're itching for more, then buy the game. If not, then don't.

It's a very, very deep game. The manual's over 300 pages long.
