Guy is right about a lot of things.  Countdown sucked and so did Final Crisis.  Is that even done yet?

Countdown featured the Elongated Man, but apart from that was a terrible travesty.

Really, DC has been going the wrong way for a number of years now.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Darth Wagtaros

Yeah it did.  He wondered around aimlessly trying to find himself or some stupid shit.  His death wasn't mercy just for him.

The only thing that would be merciful would be the murder of the man who thought that Identity Crisis was a good idea.  Or that evil Max Lord was a good idea.

ya Batgirl/Mary Marvel storylines were among the most heinous of all the stupid things DC has done in recent years. I have personally deleted all memory of those lines of continuity.
:p

BuddhaRhubarb

Hilarious video. DC needs to put that guy in charge.
:p

Sophie Scholl

Wow.  That video makes me glad I haven't bought any comics in a long time.  I was really thinking of grabbing up a few soon as well.  Damn.  Are there any good superhero comics still out there?  My buddy is letting me borro his copies of The Living Dead or whatever the zombie one is ya'll seem to love so much.  I'm not a huge zombie fan, but good stuff is good stuff.

 I've watched just about all the videos, almost every one is brilliant, I especially liked Amazons Attack, Captain Planet #3, US1 and Sultry Teenage Super Foxes.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

It's definitely not a traditional "guy-in-tights-flies-around-punches-people" comic.  Rather adult in subject-matter, from the outset :

Nice.  I think I read about this briefly in an issue of Wizard I picked up a couple months ago, my only other source of comics info other than Languish.  Alas, they aren't as brutally honest as you people are, and have a tendency to play up everything as awesome and amazing that's occuring.

oh yeah gotta read that. Irredeemable is clever and fun.

Also good oddball superhero take is "Incognito"
:p

Darth Wagtaros

Soon I Shall be Invincible is a novel about super heroes and is pretty good.
