Ok, so Princesca and I are most likely adopting a dog this week--we have a specific puppy in mind and just need to get "approved" by the dudes who run the adoption foundation.

If it helps, the puppy in question is a mix of German Shepherd, Boxer, and Labrador.... I'm unsure of the exact proportions but we want to go with the one who looks the most like a German Shepherd.  Also, it's a male.  Its current name is "Dodger" (all of the dogs in the litter are named after MLB teams :bleeding: ), but we don't necessarily hate that name despite its origin.

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

At least you didn't end up with Yankee.  ;)

Yep, there's a Yankee. :x IIRC it's Dodger, Pirate, Philly, Cubby, Yankee, Astro, and Brava.

Dogs should have names like "Larry," "George" or "Wally."  Never name a slobbering dog after a god or goddess, that is for a cat.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

Siege

Fucking dogs are only good to bark and reveal our position to the enemy.

They are only good for that and target practice.

Went with Beauregard. Jackson wouldent appreciate having a dog named after him, I fear.
It can't be helped...We'll have to use 'that'

Moonshine =>  :bleeding:

I went with Argos. Dodger isn't that bad either.
Or call him Siege. That would be appropriate...

Jos Theelen

although it is not german, Thor was the closest to a german name i could find.

If I ever get a german shepherd I'ma name it Adolf.

I like Dodger. Don't go for Argos - it's the name of a discount catalogue store over here.
