Old Republic doesn't look like it's going to be ready anytime soon tho.

Probably not. OTOH Bioware doesn't have a reputation of pushing out half finished products.

:nerd:

Any info on how many servers there will be?

As usual, we should all atleast try to play together & join the same Fleet/Guild/whatever they are call.
Colonel Caliga is Awesome.

katmai

Um not sure about server yet.

but to answer a few other questions

QuoteQ: How will I be able to play with my friends?
A: In space, you can form teams and do missions together. Space battles will occur between multiple player and NPC vessels. When you do a ground mission, the mission owner can build an away team that consists of other players. Outside of combat, there will be numerous community building features, locations, hubs and events that will bring players together.

Q: What races will I be able to play?
A: The plan is Human, Vulcan, Andorian, Klingon, Orion, Gorn and several others. You will also be able to create your own race with its own custom look and attributes.

Oh and GF open beta is the 12th.

You shouldn't pimp out your girlfriend on an open Beta.  If you need to test her out you should have a closed beta with a strict NDA.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

I'll check out the beta, but that's it I guess

Meh, it still smells like a bomb.

Away teams filled with nothing but Captains?  Meh.

Great.  Looking forward to servers filled with Dildoz from the planet Vulva.

This is starting to remind me of an intergalactic Pirates of The Burning Seas.

katmai

Not like you were gonna stay with it anyways, ya quitter.

Count me in! I still have my Kirk and Spock dolls along with the Enterprise bridge set. :nerd:

Strix sounds like a good Vulcan name.
