I voted TR but then thought, he'd probably get the US involved in WWI.

The question is who would you vote now, not who did you vote for in 1912.

Prediction: BB votes for Taft

Taft's policies were far more right wing than the Canadian conservative party is today.

Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.

That's not how it's phrased.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Which is convenient since I am more right wing than the Canadian conservative party is today.  The tone of the budget update yesterday was shameful. <_<
Posts here are my own private opinions.  I do not speak for my employer.

Threviel

What retard chose Wilson? :yuk:

Explain yourself!

Eddie Teach

He'll keep us out of war!

I didn't vote Wilson though.

Taft was the only proper choice, because of his naval construction policy.  :dreadnought:

1824 has 1912 beat.  Four candidates won electoral votes.   The eventual winner didn't win the electoral college or the popular vote.

I support corrupt bargains.

TR built the White Fleet! How was he not dreadnought friendly?

Have you counted the dreadnoughts in the white fleet?

Then why doesn't he say anything about it in his platform?  Taft is the only candidate who is explicitly for an increase in naval armaments.

They were built right before that transition. The first American dreadnought, the South Carolina was already fitting out as the fleet left.
