I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Perhaps the only election of note coming up is Virginia Gubernatorial in 2013 and then mid-term Congressional elections in 2014.

Clinton takes 58 percent of the Iowa vote in a hypothetical presidential run. Vice President Joe Biden trails far behind at 17 percent, followed by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo at 6 percent and Massachusetts Sen.-elect Elizabeth Warren at 3 percent.

A majority of Americans want Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to run for president in 2016, according to a poll released Wednesday showing the former first lady and senator is more popular than ever before.

An ABC News/Washington Post poll showed 57 percent would back a Clinton run for the presidency, and only 37 percent would oppose one. Two-thirds of Americans have a favorable opinion of Clinton, and only 28 percent have a negative opinion. An even higher number, 68 percent, approve of her work as secretary of state.
