I recognised the 2nd photo as it's fairly famous; details here at this wiki page which bizarrely calls the events the Dachau massacre, almost as if not much had taken place along those lines until then:

The Americans seemed to have acted with restraint; in the case of the 'spies' the three photographed at execution had had a trial along with another 10-12 executed elsewhere.
Indeed Skorenzy, was put on trial for planning and commanding the commandos and he was found not guilty, not least because a British SOE agent testified in his defence that he'd similarly warn enemy uniforms.
