Products will be available but there will be a huge black market. After the apocalpyse, the first people into Wal Mart will take everything and then hoarde them selling them later for whatever passes for hard currency.

You'd think that, but old mil-spec ammo holds up pretty well.  The more that I think of it, storage does play a role in preserving the really old stuff (though I'd still contend that 15 years isn't going to make much of a difference as long as it's kept dry).  All military surplus ammo I've bought has come in a sealed can or arrived to the dealer/distributor that way.

You can't always take Wikipedia at face value, but 24 sounds about right.  She certainly doesn't look as young as 16.
