Israelis fret over 'lynching' of Palestinian

In Theodore Rex, Edmund Morris tells of an event in 1903 in Wilimington Delaware, where a black man was burned alive and had his head smashed in with a hammer and Morris calls that a lynching (p 246-250).  Not that Morris is necessarily an expert on the topic, but it is the last book I read and was still fresh in my mind which is what made me question dps.

EDIT: For the record the Merriam-Webster app on my phone defines lynching as:  to put to death (as by hanging) by mob action without legal sanction.

IIRC, the victims don't have to be killed via hanging, but the body does have to be hanged after the murder for it to be a lynching.

I've heard it for non hangings, but mostly hanging.  Even when the killed the victim with a gun they often hung the body.  Still, this is a racially based beating.  Not a lynching.

Indeed. But dont expect Siegy to understand it. He has proven many times over he is just like the muslims, only with Jahweh/Jehowah substituted for Allah.
