Gonzaga just lost to Wichita St.

I didn't think Gonzaga looked very good either.

Hoosiers are going to take the big prize.

Wow, that was a tough match up against those smart kids.
For God's sake man, get hold of yourself!

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Wow, the Cats bracket is just a mess.

Ed's forsaken Buckeyes just fell behind Iowa State with 3 minutes left.

That Ohio State kid had ice in his veins. Iowa State gets a whole .2 seconds to answer with a 3 of their own.

edit: make that .5  :D

Not my buckeyes. I could care less about the basketball there.

Hence "forsaken" :)

You can't like a school for football but not for basketball. IT'S JUST NOT RIGHT.

Ohio state will survive my wandering eye. Why watch them when Bobby Knight was throwing chairs around?

It's reverse Timmy-ism. :yeah:

Ed Anger

I reverse the polarity.

You can like a school for football and not give a shit about basketball though.

The Ducks have never won it all. Sorry, the choices are Notre Dame, Alabama, and maybe USC and Ohio St. Alabama doesn't have the elitism or long history of media over-hype on their side. They're a poor fit for a New York franchise. The others just haven't won enough. Notre Dame it is.

WHATEVER THE FUCK.

As usual, the forest gets lost for the trees around here. :D

The point is, and was, that I don't like the Ducks and I think they buy more of their success than they earn. Who is and isn't the Yankees of college football is really fucking unrelated to my actual point. :D

The Yankee owners buy success but the players still have to earn it.

I would say that the point that you don't like the Ducks wasn't so much lost as accepted without argument.  :P
