"I have to say, this game totally won me over. I expected it to be a facile mishmash of Vietnam myths and shallow gameplay, and instead I got a coherent, original game system that reflects a certain understanding of the Vietnam War with mechanics that fit together as a whole yet are evocative in their own right. It's far more than I expected, but more importantly, it's an excellent treatment of something I've actually never seen. That doesn't happen a lot for me these days."

:P

Razgovory

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Norgy

If anyone wants a copy of "Age of Decadence" (turn-based RPG from something looking like late Roman Empire), I bought three by mistake. It's the same studio that made "Dead State".

So I have two to give away.

Syt

I have a copy already. My impression of the beta was that it's hard for the sake of being hard, though I appreciate that they want to make every skill relevant while making sure you can't be a jack of all trades. I will try it again when the beta is done.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

Norgy

Yeah, it was pretty harsh.

Even upping the resolution in "Options" was a quest in its own right.

Syt

IIRC I rolled a thieving/speechcraft character once. I got killed when I interfered in a lynching and was unable to talk down a mob.

There were so few skill points to spread out. I used mine on graphics settings, I think. Died almost immediately.

I tried to be the "jack of all trades", but I suppose I need to specialise. I do like the setting and it seems like a decent game.

Grey Fox

Sure, I'll take 1 of those keys Norgy.

Solmyr

Can grab the other one if it's still available. :)

A gift, one that I paid for, and you call me ass?

That's like, so classy. So fuck you Francotard.
