Stay Alive...Let the Man Drive

So it's another version of Harpoon.

I think it was originally called "Red Pill" (or "Blue Pill"?) before being picked up by publishers and changing the name Modern Air/Naval Operations.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

Not much excitement here for Rome Total War 2. It is out tomorrow.

Not sure how the quality is - unlike OOTP it doesn't have 14 years under its belt yet, and I think the developers are different?

Still, I thought some people might be interested (and there's a Mac version, too!).

Here's their forums:

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son

I had a look at the forums. Lots of grumbling. But there should be a demo or something.

First game I know about covering the Spanish Civil War:

Beside the standard AGEOD engine stuff it has interesting regional decisions making it a bit more strategic (like in PrON), so if you ever felt like prosecuting commies/fascists in territory you control, this is the game for you.

Basically Minecraft IN SPACE without the blocky graphics and with a physics engine.

Trailer for Valiant Hearts : The Great War, an adventure game set during WW I.  Hoping for good things out of it.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

Stuff like insert the glass eye of the dead soldier back to its socket so his pocket would open and give you the pipe which you can exchange with the camp whore for a pack of cigarettes to give as a present to the Captain? I`ll pass.
