I thought that slender game was a free one that had been out for a while?

Seems to be a follow up. It's half price for pre-order, with beta access.

"Distant Worlds" and some of the other more recent MOO-like 4X space games haven't really grabbed me (likely due to my unreasonably high expectations), but this upcoming one looks dangerously promising to me...especially the more involved colony management.

Wilcard factor?  It's being made by Northern Irelanders. :hmm:

March of the Eagles is available for pre-order on Steam for 17.99. Comes with a free copy of Sengoku if you pre-order.

Previews seem to suggest that this might be a decent MP game?

I guess. I really want to find an excuse to buy this. :P

But I was a big turtle in the EU3 MP games, can't see myself enjoying an EU3 where everything is removed except the RTS warfare.

haven't played it in awhile, but i've found alpha protocol to be an incredibly excellent RPG (if a bit flawed). immensely fun, with an interesting plot and dialogue system

System Shock 2 comes to GOG tomorrow.

It's kinda fun to see GOG become what one of the intentions behind Home of the Underdogs was: a place where you can go and get all those old, classic games that might not otherwise be available/playable on modern machines. Gone are the days of having a forum thread listing all kinds of small, shady online traders to buy legit copies of old/out of print games from.

Yeah and somewhat ironically now that MoM and it's ilk are readily available I still haven't gotten around to getting it.   :hmm:

Hearing some rumblings about FO4. Kind of eyeballing State of Decay.

Anyone know of any Sea Dogs like 17th Century pirate-trader game?  Sea Dogs was one of my favorite games of all time.

Impressive updates to For The Glory. That is some dedication. :o

I've since exited the project but really not so impressive if you divide that all by 3 years. What happens when development falls to one person (the scenario updates not withstanding).

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.
