Been playing around with Universe Sandbox 2.

Placed a rocky planet with .91 Earth masses, a radius of 6199km and a density of 5.45g/cm3 in a stable orbit 1.28 AU from the sun and named it Minerva.

With an atmopheric density 1.21 times Earth it is a balmy 50 C.  That seems surpisingly high.  :hmm:

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

I got myself Rise of Flight and a couple of the plane packs from Steam.  My pilot, Franz something (Hoffmann? I don't remember it's from a name generator.  There are two Ns at the end for sure though.  Very German. :P) got two kills on his first mission.  A Nieuport 11 and 17 GBR.  He then broke his wings on the second mission while making a turn and was seriously injured.  His fault, not mine.  Definitely his fault.

Flying a Halberstadt D.II sometime in 1916.  Cool game if you like flight sims and/or WW1 planes.

E:  I'm using this mod called the Pat Wilson campaign generator.  Makes it easier to create and do stuff for a pilot career.  Side note:  I have been reminded by this game that WW1 planes were fucking death traps.

E2:  Got up to 6 kills and a new bird + squadron transfer.  Jasta 2, Albatros D.IIlt with a 20mm overwing gun to go with the usual nose MG:

Played Four Last Things, a point and click made entirely with rennaissance art (well, some is dated later) and music (again, some later composers, like Bach). http://store.steampowered.com/app/503400/

It's a short experience (I finished in 2 hours), not very hard or deep, and has some funny jokes, but overall left me wanting for more. 7.99 is a bit much for the experience, but probably worth it at half off.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

QuoteNorthern Regime: 1862 is a hardcore survival game set against the backdrop of the American Civil War in the frozen and frigid lands of Northern Dakota. It's you vs. the environment and all its inherent dangers as you tackle Confederate soldiers, hostile wildlife, and the cold to stay alive.

Really enjoying it so far, thoguh I think I'm still a fair ways from the really challenging puzzles.

Goddamn, Sherpa guides on Everest don't have backpacks that big.

You'd think somebody with all that programming skill would use it for Good, not Stupid.

Six kills for the Royal Navy.  The Sopwith Pup rules all.

Until I get my hands on a Camel.

Death to zee Germans.

Really enjoying Warhammer 40000: Armageddon. The application of the Panzer General model to Warhammer works very well, and I enjoy this a lot more than the Panzer Corps series.
