By random happen chance I went to the website for my old law school.

The first thing I saw was "Alumni - How to Apply for your J.D. Designation".

Doctor Barrister has a certain ring to it, don't you think?
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

They can have my LL.B. when they pry it from my cold, dead hands.

The formation of a Brony club here on campus made me gag.

It's no worse than anime clubs.

Can't imagine why anyone would bother though. It isn't like anyone on earth cares what the degree their lawyer has is called.

Indeed, Jeff Winger will be back practicing once he finally gets his Associate's Degree.

MLP is made for 2 year old girls.

Most anime that is shown in the West is made for teenagers or adults.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Yeah, but it's still cartoons.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that people like what they like.  Some people like black and white films, others like anime, others like My Little Pony, other like computer games, others like trashy non-threatening vampire books, others like murder mysteries, and some few people like buying wargames, putting them on a shelf, and never playing them.  Ever.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

This doesn't sound like you at all.  No sir.  Not at all.

Doesn't it?  Neil generally supposes that all human pursuits are ultimately meaningless.  It follows that watching some kid's cartoon is not less significant than reading War and Peace, since they're both largely exercises in killing time before we die. :)

If you're going to call out Hapsburg, Timmay, Lettow, Tamas, soccermoms, and Ed Anger, you should at least address them by their proper names.

My sister had My Little Ponies when we were kids.  They were no match for my He-Mans.
