With CK2 out, EU3 exhausted aside from fan made mods that seem stuck in development limbo, etc., what will the next game we see from Paradox be?

Ancient Demon

I'm looking forward to Magna Mundi.

I'm looking forward to Magna Mundi.

That mess is never going to see the light of day.

Barrister

I think a Hearts of Iron IV is inevitable, but they probably need a release inbetween now and that.

Not sure where they go with the current game engine.  Rome II?  A new historical era?  (WWI?  Alt-Hist WWIII?  Civil War?)

Posts here are my own private opinions.  I do not speak for my employer.

Razgovory

I'd like to see a Bronze age game.  Though it would probably suck as much as Rome did.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

A Greek City States game seems like a winner with how they make games.

Why would you say that? It's supposed to be released in about a month.

It was supposed to be released, what a year and a half ago?

My biggest worry is that if it is released the threatened lawsuits won't happen.

It will be online only and feature micro-transactions. :P

Why not EU4?

EU3.7 - "Age of Exploration"

with a revamp of the colonisation and trade systems including 2000 events simlating the onin war replete with manga style event images.
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

at least you left out silly poems by lettow.

I wouldn't mind seeing an EU game that properly modeled colonization. Maybe use something like Victoria's system, and tie the habitability of provinces into tech levels. There was a damn good reason nobody settled Georgia until 1731.
