The draft is pretty over-rated.  I mean it is not over-rated in the sense that it is the most proven method to build a great team but as a form of entertainment.  I mean I love the University of Texas and I hope each player has a great career but which specific team they play on does not matter much unless it is the Redskins.

I usually wake up from my football hibernation a week before camp.  Which mercifully will be held in Cincy this year rather than Georgetown, KY.

Yeah I prefer to follow sports that are actually playing games but here in Texas all the sports media does is talk about football year round.

The lead story will be which right tackle impressed the coaches at today's drills at UT.  Somewhere they might mention the San Antionio Spurs just wrapped up the #1 seed in the Western Conference in the NBA playoffs....maybe.

He's an improvement over Collinsworth and his annoying mid-sentence pauses.

I'd like to have a Gus Johnson toggle switch in Madden.  When I need a laugh, I switch it on.  When my ears start to bleed, I switch it off.

Yeah, I know.  For whatever reason, Simms just doesn't bother me.  Then again, I don't have to hear Simms doing non-stop local radio & TV ads for car dealerships, window replacement, and heating/cooling.

Since CC lives around here, he leaves his iPad at Paul Brown Stadium to be synced up with each week's game films.  I saw it in the video room late last season & I swear I wanted to smash it into pieces.
