I like One Piece.
For some reason I just can't click with the artwork.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Siege

"All men are created equal, then some become infantry."

"Those who beat their swords into plowshares will plow for those who don't."

"Laissez faire et laissez passer, le monde va de lui même!"

The Brain

Women want me. Men want to be with me.

Dude, I started Senguko and i quit.
There was a dude on a horse, suppossed to be a Takeda, with motorcycle handles on his horse.

I love Anime, but anime kind of sucks these days.
I grant you better animation, but story wise and design they suck.

Have you ever seen Firebird (Phoenix 2772 in the States), or Lupin the 3rd- The Castle of Cagliostro, or Prince of The Sun?
How about Voltus Five?

Yes, it does.  Its been Beybladed.
PDH!

Haruhi Suzumiya is the best thing since Cowboy Bebop.
I started watching it on a anime nut's recommendation expecting some by the book crap about high school students fighting monsters or whatever....it is actually a pretty deep and well done piece of sci-fi/fantasy however.

Haruhi Suzumiya is okay. "Deep", though? I mean, it's no serial experiments lain, or even a tatami galaxy.

Haruhi Suzumiya's very existence is cheapened by the existence of endless eight.

Endless 8 was a PITA, but then that was that was the point of it, to show how horrid things were. Quite an interesting take on the Groundhog Day thing which is usually all fun and games and doing crazy stuff.
They did go a bit too over the top with it though.

I've never seen those other two, have been meaning to look up Tatami Galaxy but meh, I'm just never in the mood for anime these days, when I do watch subtitled stuff I try to stick to live action Japanese things, and even that is rare, I just want to relax after work.

Tatami Galaxy makes my top 10. I recommend it, but I can certainly understand wanting to avoid subtitled shows when you have so much moon to deal with in your daily life.

I never really liked Lain.  It struck me as a little overwrought.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Full metal alchemist is good.  There are two anime series.  The first was done before the manga was completed, so it had an original story.  The second anime series follows the manga.  I've only seen the first anime and it is good.  I've read that the second one is even better.

I always watch subtitled shows, even though I don't understand Japanese.  Japanese voice acting is the best.  The animation is also designed with the characters speaking Japanese in mind.

I've seen the first anime, and read the manga and the manga is definitely better than the first anime (which I agree was good). I definitely want to watch the 2nd anime one of these days.
