Took my car into the dealership this morning to check the engine light.  Overheard the gear heads talking about the spike in gun purchases.  One guy said some shop had sold three pallets of AR 15 ammo.

And they probably sold out in hours, or even minutes.  A distributor near me sold 1.5 million rounds of 5.45x39 ammo (which some guys shoot in specially-configured ARs but it mostly for AK) in an hour & a half late last night.  I'm getting ready to go pick up a 1080-round spam can of it I ordered myself, along with 880 rounds of Bulgarian 7.62x54R.  That stuff is still cheap so I'm stocking up while it's still available.

The man who shot himself at a Timonium gun range Thursday night committed suicide, Baltimore County police said Friday.

Officers were called to the Continental Arms at 9603 Deereco Road shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday for reports of a shooting.

A deceased adult male was found inside of the gun range. Police said he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

It is totally ridiculous.  A tiny miniscule amount of deaths occur due to the weapons the politicians want banned.

It is totally ridiculous.  A tiny miniscule amount of deaths occur due to the weapons the politicians want banned.

It's limited to those things with half a shot at actually getting banned. It's a token law, Valmy. Nothing more; nothing less.
