A girl I worked with back in the 80's was shot and killed "accidentally" by her boyfriend.  Pretty much everybody figured he'd done it deliberately, but there was no evidence.

In Kentucky you need to have a hunting license to take deer, period, but if you have one you can kill them on your own property.  Had a buck run through my back yard last weekend but I wouldn't have been able to take a safe shot since he was facing my neighbor's house.  Of course, I hate that neighbor, so...

Reminds me of a video I took of my wife shooting one of those for the first time. Is that from a Remington ad? It looks similar to my shotgun, which was manufactured in 1965.

She is holding the gun wrong though.
Buttstock is not in the shoulder, sight aligment is horrible, body posture is not leaning into the gun's recoil.
But she is skinny and young.
